Revision Tools

I want to put together some tools and tips that you can use for revision. We are now about one week away from the first history exam and the quality/quantity of your revision this week can make or break your chances.

I've banged on about Mind Maps since year 10 but here is a really good explanation of how and why they work. Get Mind Mapping!



The 'Get Revising' website might also be of some help to you. I've not played around with this one much but looks very good (and free!).

Here is a really handy article about the New Deal and its success or otherwise. Well worth a read and very useful for the USA 1929-1990 (outline study) paper 'US Society' question.

Ah the old gang! Seems like ages ago now ;-)

Seriously though, 2 weeks or so to go. Brush up on that exam technique and live, eat, sleep, breath Germany 1918-1945 and USA 1910-1929.

Remember that you will soon be making some of your own 'history'!

A very useful breakdown of how examiners mark your papers. This is gold dust and if learnt will improve your exam technique beyond measure.

You should be settling into a revision routine by now. You all have the choice over what grade you will achieve. Be bold, go for top marks and remember that only you can make it happen!
